K. Yamaguchi obtained a Ph.D. in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tokyo. He began his career as a laboratory researcher at Tonen Corporation (a Japanese affiliate of ExxonMobil) in 1989. In 2004, he passed the patent attorney examination.After gaining experience handling intellectual property cases at the Advanced Life Science Institute for several years, he joined Morita & Yamaguchi (formerly known as Morita & Associates) in 2005. His expertise includes extensive experience in prosecuting domestic and foreign patent applications in the fields of genetic engineering, immunology, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and food-related inventions, as well as trademark matters.
